The Experience

A unique full-day journey designed for those who wish to connect deeply and safely with nature, history, and biodiversity.

In this experience, you will have the opportunity to live truly unique moments and discover elements that very few Uruguayans have encountered: visit the historic Casa Gaucho, with over 150 years of history (subject to availability), see a wild yerba mate tree growing naturally within the reserve, observe an extraordinary fern — only the second recorded finding in all of Uruguay — explore the lakes, discover several natural viewpoints distributed throughout the reserve, including a main lookout at 390 meters above sea level offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills, and visit archaeological sites that reveal the heritage of the region’s original tribes.

If your energy allows, you may also choose to experience horseback riding through the hills or kayaking on the lake. These last two activities are not included in the base proposal and are offered as optional add-ons.

Each activity is led by certified professionals, ensuring safety, learning, and a deep, authentic experience adapted to the pace and ability of every participant.
